We all have! And now we have a chance to be a part of the Louisville’s day of giving — an opportunity to unite our city around causes in which we truly believe, and help nonprofits connect to the larger community.
We need your help! Please join our campaign and donate to Beechwood Park. We need you to tell your friends and family members about the important work we do and ask them to join us in helping to make a difference.
Get ready to give! Starting at 12 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, visit our page at Give for Good Louisville and make a donation to us (plus any of the great participating nonprofit organizations in the community). You will have 24 hours to make your donation, and all giving will end at 11:59 p.m. Sept. 12.
If we have at least 30 unique donors we will be in the pool to share $40,000. All you need to do is donate any amount, even just $10.00. You can donate to other nonprofits as well. We would really appreciate your support!
Like more information? Let us know by writing to Friends of Beechwood Park President Brian Caudill at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Please join us at Monnik Beer Co. in Schnitzelberg from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, for an Octoberfest event benefiting Beechwood Park. Our fundraiser will also coincide with Louisville Beer Week! Your $50 per-person donation will help us complete our next projects: the limestone step entrance, Children’s Nature Play Area (partnering with Bloom Elementary School) and fall planting of understory trees.
Buy tickets via our Eventbrite page.
Your donation will include Monnik’s Grassfed Burger Slider Bar with assorted toppings, fries and mixed greens, plus two beer selections. (A vegetarian option is available, too; please contact Brian at email@example.com if you want this.) A yummy dessert selection is also included.
We will have a jazz trio, Palensky Lake Blaszynski, performing that evening.
Special thanks to Republic Bank for their generous sponsorship!
We raised $1,225 during the third annual Give Local event co-sponsored in September by the Community Foundation of Louisville, a 24-hour fundraising marathon with more than 600 non-profit participants. Overall, the initiative raised $4.15 million, a whopping $1 million more than in 2015.
We’ve just added a new “Donate” tool to our site, so you can make online contributions via PayPal to the Friends of Beechwood Park group, now developing a Highlands community pocket park:
You’ll also find the link in the sidebar on the right side of this page.
You can use Visa, American Express, and other major credit cards — or an existing or new PayPal account. Just click on the Donate button, and away you go.
As always, your contributions are fully tax-deductible because the Friends of Beechwood Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We’re one of more than 600 nonprofits participating today in the 24-hour Give Local fundraising marathon sponsored by the Community Foundation of Louisville. You can make your tax-deductible donation at Give Local’s website by searching for Beechwood Park in the organization box.
